And this concludes volume 1 of Obama Action Comics. Why here? Why now?
Why not? It’s as good a place as any to stop, think about where it can go, which new and exciting characters and storylines to add. In the meantime I’ll be putting Vol 1 together in one large PDF with a forward and notes on various strips and also try to get a small batch of them printed which are sure to be a limited edition collectors item.

It’s indirectly inspired by Bill Hicks. I had heard somebody else say that line when somebody was whining about Jesus jokes and have since familiarized myself with the source material.
It’ll be a little while before I have something ready for print, but I’m pretty sure that with digital on-demand printing I can offer something at a reasonable price.
All I’m willing to say about Vol 2 at the moment is that if there’s still this influx of holy warriors here, we’ll be seeing a lot more of Jesus in this comic. Not only is he all pissed off, but I think he’s probably pretty horny too.
