You Know You Want to Advertise Here
Why would you want to advertise on this blog? Why wouldn’t you? I suppose you might just not care about attracting the eyeballs of the politically aware, hip and opinionated crowd. I mean, those people never buy stuff anyway, right?
But seriously, folks… this blog is funny, snarky, sarcastic, full of pop culture references and gratuitous foul language. It’s like the West Wing if Kevin Smith created it, Samuel L. Jackson played the president and it ran on HBO. There have been scientific studies, done by actual scientists, that have proven people with a sense of humor click more ads than those without a sense of humor. Purveyors of geeky pop culture schwag, political stuff with an edge, independent music, zines, or web comics would have great potential clickthrough rates on a blog like this.
What kind of sick fucker would do a web comic like this? The kind with enough real world political experience to know that it’s all one big joke and nothing is off limits to make fun of. The kind that already made a low budget underground political comedy film on location in DC. The kind whose completely unprofessional use of four letter words in an advertising pitch endeers you to him rather than making you uneasy.
